Details

Eraser vs Yöjalka released their magnificent debut album, Round 1 (ExoCD 16), almost exactly one year ago. Now it's time for the second one and this one will certainly blow your socks off even further than the first one. Where the duo's first album was quite dark in it's sounds the second one, Tarinat, is more uplifting. Happy and hilarious would be the right words to describe the new tracks. The gabber trance period has switched to happier times and the psy is definitely still there, even stronger than before. Eraser took his first steps on the path of music at the tender age of five, he played classical piano for 10 years. Then followed a shift towards boundless soundscapes as age and technical ability increased. Eraser was signed "straight from the cellar" to the ground breaking Fusion vs Confusion (ExoCD 06) compilation in 1999. His track "Headache" got a lot of attention because of its raw power, for instance global DJ Goa Gil has been playing the track at the end of his 12 hour marathon sets. Yöjalka started his musical career, also at the age of five, with playing the Cello. "I played the Cello until I got permission from my parents to stop" he says. He then exchanged the cello for an electric guitar and singing in a punk band. His guitar playing can nowadays again be heard on the live gigs.
