Finally, the Observers debut is in print again; when Seen first dropped in 2001 (on the sadly defunct Different Drummer label), it was hailed as one of the lushest, deepest, most caringly crafted dub-a-tronic exploration ever released, a cunning experiment in melodic instrumental dub that, without losing its edge, made for the most gorgeously seductive meditative listening experience.While tracks from it have graced many a compilation (including Dorfmeisters Different Drummer retrospective mix and Tom Middletons The Sound of the Cosmos), the album itself has been unavailable since 2003, a situation rightly corrected by this re-release.
