A portrait is a way to stop time and catch emotions and feelings; to transpose this concept in music I picked up my real instrument, the classical guitar, and starting to create the musical core of each track; taking inspiration from my childhood I tried to recreate that quiet atmosphere recording the sound of almost every object in my parent's house, mixing them with electronica and with my classical roots. The main influences on the album comes from my work as a photographer, my infancy, Sardinia's beautiful landscapes and Akira Kurosawa's movies.
