Prabhamandala members are Tyler "Quasga" Smith and Jason "Spore" Major. They started making music together in 1996 doing odd electronic experimentations. The Prabhamandala sound started surfacing around 1998 as they were beginning their own take on "psy-trance" music. They were inspired by original Blueroom Label artists, entheogens, and trying to picking up all the vintage and newer gear they could afford. This transpired into two releases, "Luminous Psyrcle" from 1999 and "Subshifter" from 2000 which set the tone for the sound. The sound is like a good trip. Building, morphing, and changing on you in an instant, defying the listener's normal expectations. It's like sonic storytelling for the mind and body to experience. They are now one of the best known trance artists in the USA and have played live at parties in the mid-west and arizona desert.

This latest album "Terra Incognita" is a culmination of their spectrum of styles. Each song explores different levels of energy and emotions. Much inspiration for this album came from traversing inner space. They tried to bring to music, the mental projections and visions viewed from within their individual souls. The title “Terra Ingognita” refers to hidden, uncharted, mental territories yet to be explored. The essence of the album, as a whole, is to be enjoyed by brain trancing OR body dancing. It's a psychedelic experience from start to finish that will lead the experiencer into undiscovered realms.
